Muriel Dimen 1942-2016

The Robert Giard Foundation mourns the passing of our esteemed colleague, Muriel Dimen, who was a founding board member and Secretary of the Board.

Muriel Dimen, a feminist scholar and psychoanalyst, and editor of the journal Studies in Gender and Sexuality, contributed the full measure of her energies to the foundation’s mission in support of photographers, videographers, and filmmakers dealing with issues of human sexuality, gender, and LGBTQ experience.  We extend our sincere condolences to her family, and to her many friends and colleagues.
