RFD Magazine and website is a reader written journal for gay people, publishing since 1974, which focuses on country living and encourages alternative lifestyles. The journal fosters community building and networking, explores diverse sexual expression, cares for the environment, encourages radical faerie consciousness, nature-centered spirituality, and shares common LGBTQ experience. RFD is produced by volunteers and welcomes reader participation. The business and general production are coordinated by a collective which prints its issues out of New England.
