In the 1980’s historian Eric Marcus interviewed over 60 LGBTQ elders. These interviews became the basis of his 1992 book, Making Gay History. In 2016 he started to turn these warm, passionate, sometimes funny, sometimes sad and always compelling interviews into individual podcasts with new context notes. Listening to the podcasts, seeing the photographs, makes the LGBTQ past come alive, very much part of the present and pointing the way toward possible futures.
